Adjustable Beds

Adjustable beds are becoming increasingly popular due to their versatile range of features and benefits. These beds are designed to provide comfort and support for people with back pain and other medical conditions that may make sleeping in a traditional bed difficult. In this blog post, we'll explore what adjustable beds are and the different benefits they can provide.

Benefits of Adjustable Beds

Adjustable beds give you the customized sleep experience you deserve. With more flexibility and independence, it is time to demand more from your bed base. Compared to a traditional bed frame, adjustable beds provide more functionality, support, and comfort to improve your quality of life. Whether you need to relieve pressure in your shoulders, neck, and legs, or need the convenience of remote-control movement for mobility, an adjustable bed base has it all. Compatible with most mattresses, an adjustable bed frame makes life easier.

How to Buy Adjustable Bed

In the past, adjustable beds have been reserved for individuals who struggle with mobility and were mainly found in hospitals and nursing homes. However, with the increasing awareness of the health and lifestyle benefits adjustable beds provide, they have become mainstream in their popularity.

Adjustable beds come with countless perks and benefits. From independent head and foot controls to massage to zero-g pain relief, there are so many features to choose from. To ensure you choose the adjustable bed base that is right for you, here are some features to consider:

Lifestyle Benefits. Lean into the ease an adjustable bed provides. This technology allows you to do more from the comfort of your mattress. You can read, eat, work, watch TV, and nurse your newborn baby in the perfect position at the push of a button. Raise your head to reduce neck strain and lift your feet to remove pressure from your lumbar area. For optimal comfort and support, don’t mess with stacks of pillows, choose an adjustable bed instead.

Zero-Gravity. With the zero-g position, you can alleviate neck and back pain. This feature helps distribute pressure evenly throughout your body, reducing stress on pressure points. For many sleepers, a slight elevation of the feet can reduce back strain by decompressing the lumbar area. The zero-g adjustable bed frame also encourages blood circulation, digestion, and improved breathing to reduce snoring and sleep apnea.

Full-Body Massage. To help you fall asleep faster, you can choose an adjustable bed with a massage feature. The vibrations of the bed frame is a great way to relax your muscles and help you achieve a deeper night’s sleep.

Programmable Pre-Set Positions. Equipped with a memory button, you can easily setup your favourite positions. Whether it is your favourite sleeping position or the perfect one for TV viewing, programmable positions make life effortless.

Head and Foot Controls. An adjustable bed base comes with two folding points. This divides the bed frame into three sections: the head, the middle, and the foot. If you experience neck pain, the independent head feature can alleviate this. If you struggle with swollen legs and feet, you can raise your lower body to encourage blood circulation. With head and foot articulation, you can reduce the painful symptoms that come with diabetes, poor circulation, high blood pressure, and more.

August 2022 It took a couple weeks for us to adjust our twin beds but now we have programmed the beds for our lovely comfort and now we have increased our nightly sleep from six hours to past eight hours. Should have purchased the beds a lot sooner.

I purchased 2 sets of king size adjustable beds with mattresses and two queen size adjustable beds with mattresses from WR Mattress Gallery. My family and I love the mattresses and the adjustable beds. Our quality of sleep has improved and our energy levels have gone up. Recently, my husband went out of town for one night. Upon his return, at bed time he told me that the only disadvantage with respect to the adjustable beds and the mattresses was that it is very difficult to sleep on regular beds! I think that sums up everything. I do want to mention that the staff at WR Mattress Gallery is extremely helpful, accommodating and friendly. I recommend WR Mattress Gallery to all my friends and relatives.

We bought our Best sleep adjustable bed at the Vancouver show. All the staff at the show and in store are very friendly and helpful. We got our new bed mainly because my husband has difficulty sleeping and several mattresses we had over the years were not comfortable. He is sleeping better, we both love the zero gravity position - very relaxing. I never had issues with sleep, but even I appreciate the positive change. When I lie down, I feel like I am on a marshmallow cloud. Very cozy and comfortable. Thanks!

November 2020

We want to thank M&N Mattress for introducing us to the NewGen latex mattress. We both are having better sleeps compared to any other mattress we had ever purchased in the past. We both recommend NewGen latex mattress for a better sleep. Zzzzz.

We heartily recommend M&N Mattress for unmatched service – such is a rare thing these days. Our lengthy search for a mattress that ticked all the boxes ended after Sukh carefully analyzed our needs. Should & crippling back pain no longer prevents us from getting a good night’s sleep. I really love that the anti-microbial Talalay latex lets me breathe freely and my husband stays so much cooler at night. It was so worth the drive to Parksville!

Our NewGen mattress has allowed us very peaceful sleep. My husband used to complain about being too hot when he slept. Now on the NewGen latex mattress, he has a cool comfortable sleep. No matter which position we sleep in we both feel the mattress supports our bodies and we feel like we are floating. The adjustable bed frame has been helpful in relieving congestion in our lungs and I no longer need to put pillows under my knees in order to have a comfortable sleep. The zero gravity position is amazing for reading and I often doze off after feeling like I’m floating on an air mattress on a lake.
